Like Eve, I have decided to take a bite from the Apple

Yep, I'm taking the plunge. As of this morning, I purchased a Mac Laptop from Micro Center in St. David's. I'm heading over to pick it up in a few hours and I'm quite excited about this!

It's funny, because my first computers were Apple's and I had the very first Mac. Do you remember the 128K box with an integrated black and white monitor? Yep, I had one of those! My memories are fond of that machine and I always did like the OS... it was definitely ahead of it's time. However, I forget why I drifted from Mac's and joined the mainstream PC crowd. My home computer is a quad core Dell gaming rig on steroids and I've been reluctant to try out Apple products. The iPhone experience has been very satisfying and my need for a laptop had me seriously thinking about an Apple; however, the pricing was always shying me away from the product. That is no longer a problem, since Micro Center is offering a $200 rebate on this Mac Laptop.

So, the journey begins in a few hours. I'll periodically update my blog with my experiences and I'll let you all know how my Apple experience compares with my PC experience.
